Michele Michaels & Brent DeWitt Dedicated To Helping Families In Havasu

Jeff and Laura borrowed on their home to repay their parents for a loan that allowed them to start their own, very successful business. They didn’t anticipate how an accelerating interest rate and simultaneous business slowdown would impact their life.

Tom bought his parents’ paid-for home several years ago when Dad became ill and needed money for medical bills. Then Mom became ill, and Tom had to refinance to pay for extended care for his folks. Mom and Dad passed away, and Tom is running out of money making the difference between rental income and mortgage payments.

Frank and Rita retired 13 years ago. One of their annuities has run out of money, and one of their pension funds has gone broke. George and Martha have also been retired for over a decade. Income from their investments has dried up.

Sara, mom to Jessica and Laurin, lost her husband when he died unexpectedly at age 48.

All these wonderful, hard-working folks have circumstances in common. They all have suffered severe reductions in income through no fault of their own. They all own homes they can no longer afford to keep. They all owe more on their home than the current market value. They all need to sell. They all discovered the short sale solution.

These are the types of nice people Brent DeWitt and I of Havasu Realty in Lake Havasu City, AZ are committed to help. While most real estate agents avoid short sales because they are difficult and time-consuming, we embrace them. “We’ve been blessed with many good market cycles in our 20 years as Havasu real estate agents. When the going got very tough for so many homeowners here, we felt an obligation to step up and find a way to help…to do our part to give back to the industry that gave us so much over the years. We thank God and the wonderful people at Short Sale Genius for helping us become knowledgeable and capable in our efforts to help distressed homeowners in our community.”
