It didn’t take long before Bonnie Overbeck, Holly Maloney & Coleen Holt all realized the need for educating homeowners that were facing foreclosure of options they have available. Bonnie, in early 2007 met a family who had purchased a new construction home, the loan did not include property taxes and the family soon realized that their payments were doubled what they could afford. At first Bonnie didn’t think there was much she could do for them but was not at ease with just leaving the family with no recourse. It was at this point that birthed her new passion to help out families that were struggling and looking for hope. After 4 months this chapter in the families life was closed as Bonnie was able to get the lender to agree to short sale the home.

I work with all three of these agents and they truly take the time to help each and every person that comes to them asking for assistance with their foreclosure. They always have the clients best interest in mind and will do what they can to make a horrible situation a lot easier to deal with. I love working with them because I feel like I am part of a team, making a differnce in some small way as well. There are several agents out there that do not want to deal with short sales because of the amount of work and time it takes to complete the deal. However, when you do finally see the deal close, and the sense of relief in the clients faces, it makes it all worth the effort.

I am glad to see the girls are reaching out to help homeowners who need to be educated on their options with foreclosures because I use to be one of them homeowners. My husband and I owned two homes and shortly after purchasing the homes we started a business. We had our dreams and goals leading us to success but did not educate ourselves to all the expenses which would occur with a new business. So our financial situation and all our dreams fell apart. We decided to call our realtor,Coleen Holt, met her in her office and she walked us through our options. We did a short sale on both homes and now with the help of Bonnie,Coleen & Holly we are rebuilding to buy another home in the near future. I am so glad that Bonnie, Coleen & Holly are getting this recognition. Someone gave me contact information for Bonnie Overbeck & when I couldn’t take another moment of stress, I called. Bonnie put me (and my family)at ease at a very emotional time in my life. I was comforted by her willingness to listen to the details of my hardship.
