Helping A Million Homeowners wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

by Matt Gil

Can you believe that we are now only 1 month away from the end of the year… WOW has time gone by so fast. It is exciting to think about what the next year holds for us all.

I wanted to take a minute and stop to really Thank each and every one of our HMH Ambassadors for their dedication and passion to help families. I noticed that as I was writing the articles about our Ambassadors, I often use the words “dedication” and “compassion” in their stories. It bothered me at first and I began to look for other words to use other than just those two. But as I sat back and thought about it… using those words really made sense!

It’s no secret that we are moving forward through a rough market right now and many families are doing what they can to not only keep their jobs and homes but provide a comfortable life for their family. Unfortunately not everyone is able to make it, some are seriously facing foreclosure and losing the HOME that they have worked so hard to obtain. That is where our Ambassadors have stepped in. It truly takes DEDICATION and COMPASSION to walk a family through the process of leaving their home and being able to rebuild their lives. It’s not by accident that those words continue to come up… not everyone has the compassion to sit down with a family and educate them of what their options are and what to expect during this process. And not everyone has the dedication to do the work and have the persistence and patience to work a short sale file from listing to closing. Not everyone can do all of that and make sure the family still has their dignity.

This Thanksgiving Holiday, Thank you to each of you who are out in your community making the difference for the families in your neighborhoods. Thank you for saying “YES” to the call for support in your neighborhood. Thank you for your determination to not allow another homeowner to be run over by the “powers that be” and giving hope in desperate times. Thank you for your compassion to comfort and educate families as they move through what they are facing. Thank you to each of you for who you are and what you are doing.

Happy Thanksgiving to each of our Ambassadors and the Families that they have touched!
